As an Inflight Service Specialist, you’ll combine leadership, service, and safety in a fast-paced, high-altitude environment. You’ll be responsible for performing FAA-mandated safety duties, handling inflight operations, assisting passengers with professionalism, and ensuring that every moment on board reflects Alaska Airlines’ core values: Kindness, Integrity, and Heart. Your training begins at the Alaska Airlines Flight Operations & Training Center in Seattle, where you’ll receive paid instruction in aviation safety, emergency procedures, customer psychology, and inflight hospitality. You’ll also experience real aircraft simulations and crew coordination exercises that prepare you for the realities of modern aviation. Upon graduation, you’ll join our Seattle base — flying routes throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica. Every flight is different, but the goal remains the same: connect people and places with care. You’ll work closely with fellow crew members and pilots, handle onboard announcements, serve meals and refreshments, assist with special passenger needs, and uphold Alaska’s impeccable safety record.
